Also, can anyone elaborate on what that ACPI error means anyway Im curious to know.If you can disable stuff in your BIOS, go with a failsafe configuration and see if you can get past the starting gate there.
Then slowly turn on BIOS features until you find one that buggers your boot process. ![]() Panic Unable To Find For This Platform Acpi Driver For ThisIve had no luck at all with 10.4.3 and up because I get the unable to find driver for this platform acpi jazz. Ive tried latest bios update, disabling everything in the bios at one time or another and no luck. I know its not a disk isssue as I can take the same HD (with 10.4.3) and throw it into an old p4 and it will get into the gui screen-although it wont run because I only have 128mgs of ram. So basically Im stuck but it seems that only a select few mobos are caught in this trench. Then again I dont know jacksht about what changed in the kernel from 10.4.1 to now. It is interesting to point out that Linux users seem to be having acpi issues with this mobo as well. If youre getting the ACPI error try replacing the machkernel in your image before burning it.
